About us

Montemaggiore Art is a cultural association established in 1999 in the  Montefiore Conca Municipality, Via Pianello 451, Province  of  Rimini, Italy.
The Association founder is  a well known sculptor ,calledUmberto Corsucci. Whose information is available at www.scultoreumbertocorsucci.it).
The association aims at diffusing and promoting the art of contemporary sculpture through two key projects:

• The creation of an  open air sculpture museum called MISAM .
• The performance of activities involving Education, Training, issuing certificates of Qualifications and Professional development of  applied Arts.

During  the last twelve years several activities  relating to sculpture and art exhibitions, Meetings took place ,apart from  cultural and folk  events.
It is interesting to know that we organized and above all a contest for young  sculptors  called  ” YONG SCULPTORS”  to create monumental works to be placed outdoors in the park of  Montemaggiore   .
Simultaneously international courses  for Art Institutions were held in Sculpture  Theatre .They  aim of the courses was specifically  to learn   

1. about  bronze  Art  Casting  through the ancient  lost wax system
2. the technique of Marble and
3. the Ceramic
