CLAY MODELING AND CERAMICS COURSE

Where the course takes place
The course is held in the creative laboratories of MISAM – the International Museum of Open-Air Sculpture, at the Montemaggiore Arte Cultural Association, adjacent to the charming village of Montefiore Conca (RN), in Emilia-Romagna.

beginners, enthusiasts, and professionals of all ages who wish to deepen or refine their skills.

Continuous guidance by sculptor Umberto Corsucci and his staff
The working models are selected and guided by the instructor to encourage comparison among participants and to stimulate the exchange of ideas, as well as critical and artistic growth.
Duration and schedule
Courses are organized in one- or two-week modules
(Monday to Saturday)
Hours:
Morning: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Afternoon: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (optional)
Alternative dates can be arranged by agreement with the Montemaggiore Arte Association.
Course fees
1 WEEK
€1,000 ALL INCLUSIVE
Course + accommodation with 7 nights, breakfast and meals included
(Camper option: €600)
2 WEEKS
€1,700 ALL INCLUSIVE
Course + accommodation with 14 nights, breakfast and meals included
(Camper option: €850)
To reserve a place, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required.
👉 The remaining balance is to be paid upon arrival.
Important notes

All working materials are included

Personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, shoes), accident insurance, and civil liability insurance are included

The artworks created remain the property of the student (maximum height: 30 cm for ceramics and 40 cm for terracotta)

Of the vessels produced, only five become the property of the participant; the others are destroyed (unless otherwise agreed and upon payment, in which case they become the student’s property)

The pieces are delivered in their natural state (unfired)

Firing is available upon request at an additional cost
