SUMMER SCULPTURE COURSE FOR MARBLE AND STONE TECHNIQUES

Welcome to the Marble and Stone Sculpture Course
When From April to October in Emilia-Romagna, sculpture courses for working with marble and stone are held, open to everyone, beginners, enthusiasts and advanced.
Where: In the beautiful village of Montefiore Conca (RN), in the San Felice area. A relaxing spot on a hill overlooking the sea, surrounded by green and panoramic landscapes. The course takes place in the creative workshops at the MISAM headquarters. International Museum of Open-Air Sculpture – Montemaggiore Arte Cultural Association.
Program and what you receive: Choice of marble and stone, processing techniques and knowledge, equipment, and materials technology. Personalized support and assistance from sculptor Umberto Corsucci and his staff.
Duration: Courses are divided into one- and/or two-week modules (Monday to Saturday). Schedule : 9:15 am–12:00 pm – 3:00 pm–6:00 pm (optional afternoon). Interested parties may arrange different course dates in consultation with the Montemaggiore Arte Association. Teacher : Umberto Corsucci and staff.

Hospitality with food and lodging
Meals : Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The kitchen offers traditional Romagna dishes, featuring many locally sourced ingredients—simple and authentic, with a homely, rural flavor. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free menus are available.
Accommodation : Family-run facility. Accommodation is provided in our residences near the work site, offering single, double, or triple rooms. Room and board for accompanying adults and/or family members of the participants are subject to availability.
Guest arrival : from 2:00 PM on the Sunday before the course. Departure: by 12:00 PM on the following Sunday.
Hospitality with use of camper parking area
Thanks to the availability of a convenient area equipped for campers, caravans, and camping, adjacent to the Montemaggiore Arte Association headquarters and the workshop areas, the sculpture courses are also open to campers. Food and lodging are not included in this case, unless otherwise agreed with the Association . Parking, use of restrooms, electricity, and water are included.
How much does the Marble and Stone Sculpture Course cost ?
2 WEEKS 1,700 (For campers 1220 euros )
To book the course, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required.
The material produced and the objects created during the courses remain the property of the student.
