We await you in a friendly, relaxing environment completely immersed in nature.
Where The course takes place in the creative workshops of MISAM, the International Open-Air Sculpture Museum – Montemaggiore Arte Cultural Association – in the beautiful village of Montefiore Conca (RN), in the San Felice area of Emilia-Romagna: a relaxing spot overlooking a hill overlooking the sea, surrounded by green landscapes and spectacular views.
When In the period from April to October.
Who is it for? The ceramic sculpture course is open to everyone: beginners, enthusiasts and professionals.
Program and what you receive: Basics of clay modeling. Glaze technology, glaze application on the aforementioned materials and firing, coaching and personalized assistance from sculptor Umberto Corsucci and his staff.
Course duration: Courses are divided into one- and/or two-week modules (Monday to Saturday). Schedule : 9:15–12:00 – 15:00–18:00 (optional afternoon). Interested participants may arrange different course dates in consultation with the Montemaggiore Arte Association. Teacher: Sculptor Umberto Corsucci and staff.
ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING ARE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE AND OFFERED IN A WELCOMING AND FAMILY ENVIRONMENT
Summer ceramic sculpture course with hospitality, room and board.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The kitchen offers traditional Romagna dishes, featuring many locally sourced ingredients—simple and authentic, with a homely, rural flavor. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free menus are available.
Accommodation: Family-run facility. Accommodation is provided in our residences near the work site, offering single, double, or triple rooms. Room and board for accompanying adults and/or family members of the participants are subject to availability.
Guest arrival: from 2:00 PM on the Sunday before the course. Departure: by 12:00 PM on the following Sunday.

Thanks to the availability of a convenient area equipped for campers, caravans, and camping, adjacent to the Montemaggiore Arte Association headquarters and the workshop areas, the sculpture courses are also open to campers. Food and lodging are not included in this case, unless otherwise agreed with the Association. Parking, use of restrooms, electricity, and water are included.

How much does the Ceramic Sculpture Course cost?
1 WEEK 800 EURO ALL INCLUSIVE: Course + Hospitality with 7 nights, breakfasts and meals *(For campers 600 euros)
2 WEEKS 1,400 EURO ALL INCLUSIVE: Course + Hospitality with 14 nights, breakfasts and meals *(For campers 1020 euros )
To book the course, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required.
The material produced and the objects created during the courses remain the property of the student.
