Lo scultore – Inglese

CURRICULUM

Umberto Corsucci was born in Sassocorvaro (PU) on September 6, 1951, and currently resides in Montefiore Conca at Via Pianello 451. He graduated in 1970 from the Art Institute of Pesaro (Ceramics Section) and attended the Academy of Fine Arts first in Rome and then in Milan (Brera), where he earned his Diploma in Sculpture in 1974. After living in various European cities, he settled and works in Montefiore Conca (RN), a small historic town located on the hills of the Romagna Riviera, where he has his sculpture studio equipped with an artistic foundry.

International sculpture courses are held at his studio.

Many of his works belong to private and public collections, both in Italy and abroad. In 1999, he founded a cultural association called “Montemaggiore Arte” with the aim of creating an open-air sculpture museum called “M.I.S.A.M.”. In the following years, besides pursuing his profession, he organized the International Sculpture Competition “Sculptures for a Museum,” now in its 12th edition, to select monumental works to be created and placed along the dedicated path of the open-air museum.
